No More Tears!!

Our church has been doing some remodel on their sanctuary and nursery and recently opened up the new part of the nursery. We have been going to that church for about two months now and every time we would leave Lillie we would get paged at some point to come get her. Since the opening of the remodeled nursery, which includes a play center with tubes and slides, we have not gotten paged! That even includes the two hours she spent there on Friday while I attended MOPS!!

New Friends

We feel very blessed that Connor has already made some great friends through his school. This is a picture of Connor and Austin at the park. Usually there are four boys, Connor, Austin, Isaac, and Menual, that get together. What fun!!

Fun with Clothes

Aunt Jill and Aunt Kara sent Lillie different articles of clothing for her birthday. As you can see in the bottom picture, Lillie didn't waste any time trying on the clothes that Aunt Kara sent! The apron that Aunt Jill, in the top picture, has individual slots to hold crayons. Both gifts are too cute!

Grandma and Grandpa (Pop) Visit

A quick stop at La Mesilla before heading to White Sands.

Connor making a sand angel.

Connor sleding down the dune.

Here is a video of Nick and Connor racing down the dune.

We were so excited to have Marge and Jimmie come out to visit. On Saturday we drove to White Sands where the scenery was incredible. It was nothing but white sand dunes surrounded by mountains in the background. I think everyone had a great time!

Enjoying Her New Toys

This stroller was given to Lillie by Grams and PaPa Bill. She pushed it all the way to the park on Wednesday. When we got there, all the other little girls followed Lillie around like she was the Pied Piper. It was pretty funny.

Here is Lillie enjoying her motorized 4-wheeler that Grandma and Grandpa got for her, and look she has already figured out a way to make it dangerous!

2nd Birthday Round Two

After Marge and Jimmie arrived on Tuesday night, we officially celebrated Lillie's birthday. This year was all about Elmo. Since Lillie cannot have store bought cake, this was my attempt at gluten-free birthday brownies with an Elmo figure on top. I would have done a gluten-free cake, but I haven't attempted one yet and I wasn't sure how it would turn out. I guess I need to take some cake decorating classes, since I will be making all of her cakes from now on!

2nd Birthday

On the day of Lillie's 2nd birthday we celebrated by taking her to Chuck E. Cheese and then came home and let her open one present. We saved the rest for the following night when Marge and Jimmie would be here. This is her first real baby doll, and she loves it!
